My kids love St. Patricks Day because they know they’ll be getting a treasure hunt. Leprechauns are mischievous and the ones who visit us usually like playing tricks on the kids. We’ve had two different leprechauns visit our house, Mean Mr. Mitch, and Leroy. Mean Mr. Mitch was a little more… mean. Leroy was a more polite leprechaun. My kids LOVE Mean Mr. Mitch and the pranks he’d leave for them, so I’ve decided to make this printable one from him. Hopefully your kids love it just as much.
I tried to write these in a way that they’re generic enough they could work for a few different things. You can use only a few, or all, in any order that works for you. One thing to keep in mind is where the hunt will end, because that’s where the prizes will be.
The clues are purposely small. They’re supposed to look like they came from small little leprechaun hands. Hopefully there are lots of clues that work for you and your family!
Typically, my kids find a prank prize first. In the past it’s been joke packs like you can find at party stores. This year, I’ve found fake money from Amazon, and a sequin pillow that turns into Nicholas Cage when switched. It’s sequins are gold, so it couldn’t be more perfect.
